CLIMATE: This place, located in the southern part of the state of Oaxaca, counts on one of the most blessed climates by mother earth, not in vain it is known as a place near to Heaven. Whoever complains about it, deserves to go to live in the North Pole where he will never lack of cold. For those who love the nature for it’s heat, subtropical semi humid climate, with an average of 28 degrees centigrade by a minimum of 14 degrees and a maximum of 40 degrees, this is THE place! Bahias de Huatulco was invaded only in 1997 by hurricans, so by Blessed Pauline (finally a woman!!!) and by Richie (what a name!). The rain is received, and only occasionally, between june and october, with some little lashes in january (the so called Dog days) and and a few light drizzles by the end of november. Nevertheless, its sub low caducifolia jungle keeps the necessary humidity for the remaining months of the year, and there is no lack of water for the framing rivers Coyula and Copalita.
In general the clothes are informal, even to go out for dinner. We recommend you to bring back with you at your homes, if you are able to go back, a small glassy bottle of this rich human warmth that you certainly catch up from this little town of Huatulco.
